The AMA & MGMA Practice Innovation Challenge is designed to seek out and provide funding to develop high-value, easy-to-adopt, transformative practice solutions to help physicians work smarter and improve patient care.

Physicians will submit innovative practice solutions in the form of a one- to three-page written proposal along with a written quantitative tracking methodology with defined metrics. Case studies and a video illustrating the solution can also be submitted.

AMA & MGMA judges, physicians and healthcare professionals with 50+ collective years of experience, will review content and select up to five winning practices. Each winning practice will earn a $10,000 prize and the opportunity to develop an educational module with the AMA & MGMA, which will be shared with practices across the country on STEPS Forward™.

The AMA & MGMA will leverage the innovative thinking from the winners of this contest to spread new practice transformation tactics to practices across the country.
