Elizabeth Turcotte is the Director of the Patient Hub at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role, she supports the entire organization in delivering improved patient experience using service design. Elizabeth drove the overall strategy for the Patient Hub and its emphasis on collaboration with outside stakeholders. Her work focuses on how to incorporate design capabilities into a highly-regulated corporate environment, so that design is viewed as a key enabler for getting work done and achieving business value. In particular, she emphasizes the role of co-creation, prototyping, and systems thinking. Having established the strategy and capabilities, Elizabeth now leads a team that applies those design capabilities across the organization
Elizabeth’s Patient Hub role builds on more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, at both Bristol-Myers Squibb and Novo Nordisk. Her work spans a variety of therapeutic areas, including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and oncology.
