Henry Leung has over 30 years of industry experience and he is a 20 years veteran working for Cisco Sales and Professional Services organization. Henry spent his first 12 years in Sales responsible for growing commercial, strategic and vertical customer business for $120M+ revenue annually.
Currently, Henry is Sr. manager Leading Healthcare Software and Solution Practice. Henry is responsible for strategic customer projects focus on first in-country delivery and global partner enablement. Key Cisco solutions includes Cisco HealthPresence TM, ExtendedCare, iServices, Virtual Patient Observation, Connected Health Architecture Consulting Services, Healthcare Cloud Exchange and Cisco Healthcare Managed Services.
Henry has conducted a number of solution-led architecture consulting workshops and international consulting engagements for global clients. Using guiding principles, industry best practice and proven repeatable methodologies to capture customer requirements and deliver premium solution and services to meet and exceed client’s business goals and expectations.
Since 2006, Henry Leung led the development and creation of Cisco Global Solution Centers (Innovation centers/Solution CoE) within Cisco Services. This is a key enabler to incubate new Software defined solution for global clients worldwide. Henry has supported a number of Smart+ Connected Communities and regional incubation projects and Solution factories from around the world. Major CoEs includes Mexico City, Songdo, Brazil, Toronto, Dailan. Over the past five years, Henry has supported 10+ active global clients on architecture and solution discovery engagements from outside Americas. Global clients includes US, Brazil, Peru, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Kuwait, Jordan, Kenya, Singapore, U.A.E., India, Thailand, Japan & China.
Henry is actively involved in speaking engagements at Customer Briefing Centers, and conduct industry “Hot topic”/meetup presentations around mHealth/eHealth and Tele-Health. Henry and his peers had presented his last paper “Transforming Telemedicine for Rural and Urban Communities Telemedicine 2.0 – Any doctor, any place, anytime” in an IEEE-healthcom 2010 summitted at Lyon, France. He is currently working on his next paper on “World of many Healthcare Clouds”.
Prior to Leading the Healthcare Solution & Services Practice, Henry established a Global Partner Solution Support Center focusing on proactive Lifecycle services and support management. Within a short period of 18 months, Henry had developed a technical delivery team of (12) Global Unified Communication consulting engineers (India) providing extended business hours professional service support to over 500 Cisco Worldwide Unified Communication partners from 55 countries.
Prior to joining Cisco Services, Henry was a Global Sales Systems Engineer and Vertical Systems Engineering Manager who spent 11 years in supporting Cisco’s Global, Enterprise and Commercial customers in various roles. Henry was responsible for building sales revenue/pipeline to a P&L model and he was responsible for over $100+M annually for Cisco Sales. Henry had provided pre-sales design consulting and for San Francisco/Bay area based Enterprise/Commercial customers in Technology, Healthcare, Retail, Energy customers. During fiscal year 2000 and 2003, Henry was named the Systems Engineering Manager of the year twice from the Western Regional Sales team in North America.
Prior to joining Cisco, Henry spent 6 years in various pre-sales and post-sales technical service and support positions at Novell San Jose, California and Xerox Rochester, New York. Henry holds a Computer Science Master Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a BS Degree in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport, New York. In his spare time, Henry enjoys traveling, photography and a round of golf with friends and spending time with his family.
