lara-krisa-hoyle-elginKrisa Hoyle Elgin is an epidemiologist and nurse practitioner with a dual role at Stanford Children’s Health. As Director of Research and Innovation (DORI) at the Center for Quality and Clinical Effectiveness, Krisa fosters relationships and cultivates opportunity around how technology can be leveraged to improve patient care and outcomes. Current primary interests are focused on leveraging the EMR to identify iatrogenic harms, and on developing next generation techniques for harnessing multiple patient data streams to create actionable clinical insight. As a nurse practitioner with the pediatric cardiac anesthesia team, Krisa works with patients, other providers and the system to deliver high quality care to critically ill patients.
