Matthew is a national leader in sports medicine and digital health with an expertise in connected devices that promote wellness. At Misfit he develops physical activity and sleep monitoring technology, and he directs industry-leading collaborations with academic and industry partners including hospitals and health insurers. He also serves on the faculty of the New York University School of Medicine, the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, and the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. Dr. Diamond is the Chair of the Consumer Electronics Association’s Health and Fitness Technology Standards Committee, which develops national standards and recommended practices for consumer health and fitness technology. Practicing sports medicine in San Francisco, Dr. Diamond is an award-winning physician-scientist and teacher who is passionate about helping people improve their mobility and performance through innovative, integrative medical treatments and technology that promotes wellness.
