Monique Mrazek is a Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group. Monique co-lead’s health care within the IFC Venture Capital practice which has invested almost $1 billion in venture capital since 2004. IFC’s Health VC practice focuses on investments in venture/early growth companies that offer innovative health technologies or business models with high impact potential in emerging markets. Previously, Monique worked globally in IFC’s mainstream investment operations overseeing debt and equity transactions, primarily focused on health care and life sciences emerging markets. She has experience working in Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa. IFC is the world’s largest multilateral financier of the private sector in emerging markets with an active portfolio of over $60 billion, comprising investments in some 1,800 companies located in more than 100 countries.
