Paulo has an extensive knowledge an experience in the key fields of biomedicine. He holds a Software Engineer degree and experience in international innovative software companies. He then obtained his PhD in neuroimaging, at the Technical University of Eindhoven, where he developed new algorithms and tools to analyse and visualize complex images of the brain to aid in the diagnostics of neurodegenerative diseases. At Health 2.0 Europe Paulo will demo Mint Labs, a platform that turns brain medical images – MRI – into 3D models that can be manipulated in real time. What can be called “a Google Maps for the brain”.
