Health 2.0 Conference Project and Production Manager

Health 2.0 is expanding. After a fantastic first 18 months Health 2.0 LLC, is adding a new full time staff position.

The Health 2.0 Project and Production Manager ensures
successful execution of Health 2.0’s conferences and oversees the
internal operations that support the events.  This is a full time
position working directly with the Co-Founders of Health 2.0, LLC, Indu
Subaiya & Matthew Holt.

Know
and love the Health 2.0 conference? Want to work behind the scenes to
help make the magic happen? We’re looking for a strong operations and
production manager to direct and coordinate all aspects of the content and production
of the show. This includes speaker outreach and communications, script
development, managing the team responsible for audio and video
production, environment and space design, staging etc. The Operations
and Production Manager is a benevolent dictator who ensures the show
goes off with a bang, flows smoothly, stays on time and delivers the
outstanding experience our audience has come to expect.

More specifically, you:

  • Are an ultra organized, outgoing, proactive, project manager extraordinaire—-no shrinking violets!
  • Love managing people and teams; can give orders effectively and manage granular details
  • Are a perfectionist about the user-experience at a Health 2.0 conference
  • Are energized by a fast-paced environment
  • Can keep a cool head when being pulled in many directions
  • Have the eyes and ears for sound, staging, audio, video, environment
    design and can manage vendors and staff members in those departments to
    pull together the event as a whole
  • Have successfully run things with many moving parts (film/tv/stage production or event management a plus but not necessary)
  • Have an interest in the business of health care, technology & Health 2.0
  • Have strong computer skills and use web tools comfortably to interact
    with colleagues and manage projects
    (Word/Spreadsheets/Powerpoint/Online management/Web 2.0 tools) – we are
    a Web 2.0 conference after all!

Job Responsibilities

  • Agenda planning, speaker content creation, speaker invitations, & speaker coordination
  • Health 2.0 content creation (script/program/powerpoint/other Health 2.0 Content)
  • On days of conference & before this role will be responsible for :
    • Preparing & managing Health 2.0 team members performing technical
      roles such as the AV manager, Powerpoint/Video prompt 3) Event
      experience designer
    • Liaising with conference event manager, volunteers, track-content managers

This role also coordinates all operations across Health 2.0, including
being the overall project manager, running the weekly tracking
conference call, and being responsible for managing up and down in the
organization. In addition basic small office administration
(supplies/mail) role will be shared among the team members.

Qualitifications & Experience we’re looking for
BA/BS and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in an operations function & project management
