Interview with Felicity Simmons, Lucile Packard Foundation

The Health 2.0 Developer Challenge is very glad to have the Lucile Packard Foundation and on board with their challenge, Local Children’s Data: Make It Engaging, Fun, and Inspiring. With the challenge wrapping up in just over a week, we wanted to remind everyone of what a great opportunity this is to take action and make an impact by drawing attention to children’s health with creative solutions.

Teams are challenged to make data surrounding children’s health relevant and fun for policy-makers, media and parent advocates. Being as creative as possible, teams can focus on the issue of their choice and create any type of submission – a game, mobile application, visualization – as long as they use (I highly recommend heading over and checking out the vast amount of data they have!).

To learn more about this challenge, including what the judges will be looking for and examples of what can be created, check out the interview below with Felicity Simmons, Manager of Marketing and Online Communications at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
