Health 2.0 To Feature Matchpoint Boston at Health 2.0 Spring Fling 2012
Health 2.0 announced today that its annual Spring Fling conference (May 14th-15, 2012) will feature Matchpoint, a Health 2.0 program that launched at the 2011 San Francisco Fall Conference. Matchpoint is a unique forum for innovators to present their solutions to health care’s most pressing problems in one-on-one meetings with health care organizations and investors.
“We piloted MatchPoint at our annual conference and it proved to be such a huge success that we decided to take it to the next level,” explained Indu Subaiya, Health 2.0 Co-Chairman and CEO. “We’re providing an opportunity for startups to sit across the table from industry giants who want to build large and thriving businesses with innovative partners whose vision and products are exclusively focused on improving healthcare. Beyond demos, we will turbocharge these matchmaking connections to foster pilots, deals and breakthrough thinking of health innovation.”
Health care organizations and investors from technology, pharmaceutical, hospitals, payers (and more) will meet with hand-selected startups throughout the Health 2.0 Spring Fling: Matchpoint Boston conference. Big players in the industry like United Healthcare, AT&T, and Interwest Partners all participated in the inaugural Matchpoint this September, during which 40% of the organizations established relationships with innovators as a result of the meetings.
