Health insurance company Aetna is expanding its relationship with non-profit healthcare system, Banner Health Network. Aetna has expanded to include full technology support for population health management and patient services for more than 200,000 patients.

Seattle-based Navigating Cancer, conducted a survey to get a sense of the perception of online and mobile health technology tools among users with debilitating illnesses. About 300 Cancer patients were surveyed, and among them 72% expressed interest in using self management tools.
