CVS Caremark added a drug interaction checker to its CVS Mobile app that warns consumers when an over-the-counter medication might interact with other drugs they are taking. For those with a myCVS online account, the app automatically checks OTC drugs against the patient’s pharmacy history.
Predixion Software, a developer of collaborative predictive analytics solutions, raised $20 million in a Series C financing round led by Accenture and GE Ventures. Predixion counts Aetna and Kaiser Permanente among its customers.
