Rock Health-backed Kit Check announced a $10.4 million Series A funding round led by New Leaf Venture Partners with participation from Sands Capital Ventures, Easton Capital Investment Group and LionBird. Kit Check helps the inefficient and error-prone manual process for replenishing hospital pharmacy kits.

CRG Medical, provider of web based health care application, released the KBCore Common Formats “Purple Button” Patient Safety app on the MioCARE A105, an Android tablet for health care. This tablet integrates with the hospital’s EHR and captures, encrypts and transfers patient safety information to the institution’s Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) in real time.
