InteraXon, creators of Muse: the brain sensing headband, announced a $6 million Series A financing round from Horizons Ventures, OMERS Ventures, A-Grade Investments, ff Venture Capital, Felicis Ventures, and Bridge Builders Collaborative.

The New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) announced that Mana Health was awarded the contract to build the Patient Portal for New Yorkers. The portal is a website for New Yorkers to access their health care records securely.

DST Health Solutions, a provider of technology solutions and services to health plans and health care providers, debuted its HCC Revenue Cycle Management Services, a platform for the government-sponsored insurance market. It will help health plans and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in managing reimbursement levels.

iCheck Health Connection, a developer of mobile apps for detection and tracking of eye diseases, raised $750,816 in funding from InterWest Partners, bringing its total funding to $775,816. The company is developing a product that will monitor eye health using mobile devices, tablets and computers.
