Matthew Holt, Co-Founder, Health 2. 0. Matthew spent the 1990s learning from the best to be a health care futurist at Institute for the future, and a survey researcher at Harris Interactive. In the early 2000s he spent time at a PHR start-up, but since he’s been the author of The Health Care Blog, and co-founder of the Health 2.0 Conference —roles for which he was mostly self-taught!
Indu Subaiya, Co-Founder, Health 2. 0. Indu started her career in health technology assessment at Quorum Consulting and then served as VP of Healthcare at Gerson Lehrman Group, an investment research firm. Most recently she was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Physic Ventures, where she helped evaluate companies in the consumer health space and incubated a start-up focused on online medical records.
Marco Smit, President, Health 2.0 Advisors. The past 17 years Marco has had the privilege of working with multiple organizations shape the early, pioneering stages of transformations in personalized medicine (e.g. Genentech, Affymetrix), and other markets (e.g. with the IFC/Worldbank in India). Since heading up Health 2.0 Advisors, the firm has achieved rapid growth, working in areas as diverse as EMRs, technology-enabled behavior change (chronic diseases), mobile, cloud-computing, care delivery innovation, semantic search, clinical decision and analytics markets, consumer health devices, and the changing pharmaceuticals industry.
Prior to his positions at Health 2.0 Advisors, Marco worked for top-tier consulting firms (e.g. Monitor Company (founded by Michael Porter), A.T. Kearney), as well as technology companies (e.g. Affymetrix) in Europe, Asia, and the US. He graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL) and attended ESSEC in Paris.
