From Big to Smart to Open: NorthWest EHealth
Bruce Magill is Head of Business Development at NorthWest EHealth (NWEH), a non-profit partnership between the University of Manchester and the NHS in England. In this demonstration Bruce illustrated how FARSITE can be used as a rapid diffusion tool for the coordination of care by using recent stroke prevention guidance, issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), as his starting point.

Humetrix has won multiple awards at Health 2.0 events and is based in San Diego. Founder and CEO, Dr Bettina Experton, is a French-American serial IT entrepreneur. With Chris Burrow, EVP Medical Affairs at Humetrix, she presented SOS QR – www.SOS-QR.com – a smartphone and Watch enabled emergency care app for GPS localization and the immediate retrieval of your emergency record anywhere around the world and in multiple languages.
