Hugo and brother Paul Braam are the owners of DIGIFiT. Their flagship product, the virtual gym, utilizes Vitalence platform technology to motivate users to get active, eat healthy and feel great. Hugo is often seen on twitter bragging about how many calories he has burned that day and rubbing the badges he’s accumulated in his virtual friends’ faces.
In 2001 Anthony Phillips, a licensed medical doctor, left his job at Nike Europe to start Wellkom, a UK based company that specializes in delivering wellness management solutions to both corporate and individual clients. It is his belief that, through the use of wellness profiling, development and reporting software, absenteeism and presenteeism in the workplace is reduced and productivity increased. getHealth is a mobile and online application that employs gaming and social features to promote corporate wellness by encouraging employees to live healthier lives. Tasked with the responsibility of generating new business leads, Chris also handles the marketing, PR and communications for both getHealth and his own company Safetext. Alberto has been involved in health care re-engineering projects at the Scientific Institute San Raffaele in Milano since 1989 but since 2002 he’s been Director of the e-Services for Life and Health Unit. “Life and health”. What at title! His research is at the three main verticals: Smart Hospitals, Smart Life, and Smart City; and one horizontal: Privacy, Safety & Security. His “vending machine of the future” is already running in the San Raffaele City of the Future Living Lab. We’re happy to see his crazy dreams are becoming reality!

He used his expertise to found and operate Biovotion, a company whose new technology permits the at-home measurement of vital sign parameters. If he ever tires of dealing with patients, he can fall back on a career in intellectual property law – he is the holder of 20 patents.
