Amir’s been at Health 2.0 since the start and before, when his company Softwatch ran one of the first online MS communities. Now Wellness Layers, which runs communities on many branded sites like Nutrisweet, is moving into the high-end employee wellness world, with a branded wellness solution for EHE international. In this demo Amir presents a solution called MeWeInfo, which combines and integrates personal plans, apps, and social networking.

US Preventive Medicine – Preventing Health Problems Before They Start

U.S. Preventive Medicine acquired Fred and his disease management company in 2007. Since then Fred has been getting great results for employers, offering The Prevention Plan, which aims to prevent huge health issues before they occur. US Preventative Medicine enables individuals to determine their top health risks and receive a customized plan and coaching from nurses to lower those risks and become healthier.  It’s also working for Fred – who’s now looking more like the high-school gymnast he used to be!

Jenifer Benz is the founder and CEO of Benz Communications, a company helping employers communicate  healthcare benefits to their employees. Benz moderates a panel of product demos for a range of tools related to physical and behavioral health benefits. Tools include: The Prevention Plan demoed by US Preventative Medicine, EHE&Me demoed by Wellness Layer, TheCarrot, a product that Keas created in collaboration with Healthwise, and AbilTo.

Skyscape – Mobile Apps for Medical Professionals

Skyscape integrates hundreds of reference sources—offered in its online book-store—across all kinds of mobile devices. As Skyscape’s head of Engineering and now running mobile solutions for parent company Physician’s Interactive, Peter’s in charge of the complex integration. In this video Peter shows the foundation of the app, and how it can be used as a quick reference guide pulling data from over 600 resources.

Phytel – Coordinated Patient Care

Russell Olsen, Director of Product Management, Provider Services, Phytel

Phytel was at Health 2.0 in 209, showing their physician registry call service. Phytel’s CEO Steve Schelhammer founded and sold Accordant, one of the first major disease management players. Russell is here in 2010 to show the radical makeover the technology has had, turning it into almost a mission control for care management.
