CareTicker & Cogito – Product Intros

Chiara Bell, Founder & CEO, CareTicker
Joshua Feast, CEO, Cogito Corporation

CareTicker, which debuted at Health 2.0 in San Francisco last fall, introduces a new version that helps patients plan, manage, and coordinate before and after major medical procedures.
Cogito, already known for their voice-recognition technology which senses individual risk and behavioral health issues, introduces a new application which analyzes patterns and cues which indicate patient engagement and the presence of psychological distress or depression.

Health 2.0 2.0

We sat down with individuals who have entered the Health 2.0 space for a second or third time with new start-ups. Hear how they are taking knowledge and observations from their first experience and using it this time around.

Univita – Launch!

Chiara Bell, Chairman, Univita

Ben Lytle has quite a resume – he’s the ex-CEO of Anthem, he built and sold Axia to Healthways, and now he’s created a comprehensive system of services for caring for the elderly. Chiara Bell (who you may remember demoing Enurgi at Health 2.0 in 2008, after which Univita bought it) will show you the online assessment and care plan component of Univita.

Launch!

To be on Launch! it must be the first time a company has demoed at a conference, and the product must either be coming out soon or have been in very limited beta to this point. During 2010 we saw some larger, better funded companies on Launch! but everyone’s had to compete to get on and there are some teeny startups here that you’ve never heard of that might just blow you away. It’s 10 continuous 4 minute demos, and the winner gets a mainstage spot the following year, not to mention bragging rights. Who wins? You decide.

Careticker – Post-Hospital Care

Chiara Bell, CEO, Careticker

Careticker is the latest from the ever irrepressible Chiara Bell who sold her first company Enurgi to Univita. Now she’s back with Careticker, which is helping to manage the mess that is post-hospital care facility coordination for patients. This demo was given during the “Health 2.0 Tools Across Generations” panel at the San Francisco Health 2.0 conference in 2011.
