Nicole Irvine is the Market Development Manager at Novarum DX. The company, established in 2012, develops smartphone apps for the healthcare, veterinary and food-testing markets. The Novarum Reader allows patients suffering from long-term illnesses to test from home using their phone, sharing those test results with a medical practitioner remotely, rather than having to regularly visit their doctors surgery. The app also allows for remote testing in rural areas, such as testing HIV sufferers in Sub-Saharan Africa, allowing mapping and instant sharing of results where laboratory resources are scarce.
