James is General Manager – Business Development & Strategy at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, where he leads the development and commercialisation of a pipeline of more than 400 research projects on new drugs, devices, diagnostics and digital health technologies. Avinash is the co-founder of Curve Tomorrow and currently the Director. At Curve Tomorrow, they bring together science and technology to help create products that will better the world. These two companies recently partnered together to build a cutting edge in-home rehabilitation application in order to facilitate, encourage and track the assessment and rehabilitation of children with Cerebral Palsy and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Mohinder Jaimangal is Co-founder of Curve Tomorrow which has recently partnered with James Dromey at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute in Melbourne to build a pipeline of disruptive digital health products, including Sonny, which launched at Health 2.0. Sonny leverages the XBOX Kinect platform to more accurately track the progress of physical rehabilitation.
Leveraging the 3d camera within a Microsoft Connect, Curve Tomorrow developed Sonny, a more interactive, fun, and effective way of measuring progress and rehabilitation in children with mobility restrictions. A crowd favorite, Curve Tomorrow was the 2014 Launch winner!
