Health 2.0 and our friends at HCPLive bring you an exciting and packed show to kick off the new year. This episode focuses on innovative tools for physicians including products that transform and aid in everything from scheduling to follow-up. We are joined by four special guests who discuss and demo their products:
Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, this weeks Health 2.0 was cut short, but check back next time for demos from the popHealth Tool Developer Challenge winner, a preview of Health 2.0 Spring Fling Matchpoint, and an interview and demo with Alexander Borve, founder and CEO of iDoc24.
Michael Nusimov, Co-Founder, Dr. Chrono
Dr. Chrono is a web-centric practice management software, taking over medical billing, appointment reminders, and medical histories of patients. Michael shows us how easy and intuitive it is to use, exemplifying the usefulness of its abilities in a doctor’s office.
This panel is regarding mobile and web-based tools designed to improve operational efficiency in the practice, including appointment scheduling and bill payment. Moderated by Brian Klepper from Healthcare Performance, Inc, and including demonstrations and commentary from Michael Nusimow (DrChrono), Chaim Indig (Phreesia) and Tom McHale (CarePass).

Office staff can schedule appointments, send email or text reminders to patients, and automate billing with this useful EHR for iPads. Patients can check in using DrChrono, doctors can record medical dictation, and it can be used to take photos and videos to visually track health. Sounds too good to be true? This is all available and more, as Michael displays in this demonstration.
Michael Nusimow, CEO, DrChrono
In 2009 DrChrono showed us their SaaS-based physician practice management system. In 2010 Michael, Daniel and team have added one of the first native iPad clinical EMR apps. Here they’re building integrations with Vitals, Remedy and more, some of which you’ll see for the first time in this demonstration. Not bad progress so far for a couple of geeks who started DrChrono because they missed a doctor’s appointment!
Health 2.0 is not just about technology. In this panel we will be showing the latest advances in Health 2.0 tools for clinicians–and how they’re working together–and we’ll also be looking at examples of programs that have incorporated Health 2.0 technology into clinical and business operations. What results have they shown and how have those partnerships begun to reform care delivery?
