CEO of WorldOne Peter Kirk introduced the session with an inspiring video and speech from the session sponsor. The 3 CEOs panel included back to back interviews of CEOs about how their companies are growing within the Health 2.0 world. Matthew Holt conducted a spoof interview with avaricious Brantley Whittington of Extormity. Writer Sara Reistad-Long interviewed Christine Robins previously of BodyMedia and now Jawbone, David Shaywitz of CATCH had a discussion with Doximity CEO Jeff Tangney, and Jane Sarasohn-Kahn of THINK-Health spoke with Peter Hudson of iTriage.
Jane Sarasohn-Kahn, Health Economist and Management Consultant for THINK-Health, interviewed Peter Hudson, CEO of iTriage. Pete’s an ER doctor who got annoyed when his friends always called him about what symptoms they had and who they should go see. iTriage answered that question so well that in 2011 Aetna bought it to be a foundation of its Carepass consumer platform. There have now been more than 5 million downloads of the iTriage app.
We brought back our popular Fireside Chat session from the 2011 San Diego Spring Fling! Each discussion is linked to the next. You’ll get 15 minute bursts of thought provoking, and possibly controversial conversations!
Peter Hudson, Co-Founder & CEO, Healthagen
The Healthagen tool takes consumers from symptom to doctors office and now is incorporating appointments and lots of government data from the HDI. Here Peter demonstrates how a consumer can connect with a doctor appropriate to the needs of their symptom. This demo was given during the “Doctors Like Me: Provider Search for Consumers” panel at the San Francisco Health 2.0 conference in 2011.
