ZeroDivide hosted a panel discussion session on the challenges and market opportunities in developing, adopting, and sustaining eHealth solutions that address the needs of the Medicaid population, as well as the historically uninsured. As the nation prepares for the opening of state and federally-run health insurance exchanges, health care providers and tech innovators need to prepare to serve more people with greater diversity of health needs than ever before. This session included an expert panel of funders, entrepreneurs, purchasers, and providers who bring unique perspectives on the health technology needs of this population and valuable insights on opportunities for growth and development among various stakeholders in the health technology arena. Join us for a thought provoking, interactive discussion of the things we don’t mention enough – the groups that hard to reach, hard to serve, and hard to connect.
Sanjay Shah represented the session sponsor, California HealthCare Foundation. Co-Founders Matthew Holt and Indu Subaiya co-moderated a session of rapid-fire demos from Health 2.0 buzz-worthy newbies on “Launch!”. Demos included SmartPatient, Medvoy, Genetrainer, Medlio, InvolveCare, Recovery Record, Vimty, Liviam, Mevoked, and OM Signal. At the end of the session the audience overwhelmingly voted Stephane Marceau from OM Signal as the winner with his wearable sensor woven directly into the fabric of a t-shirt! The prize is bragging rights and an invitation to demo on the mainstage at the 8th Annual Fall Conference in 2014.
