Tielman Van Vleck, Director of Language Processing, Clinithink
Clinithink indexes free-text clinical narrative recorded by clinicians in EMRs, and sends back context-sensitive clinical codes in XML format. CliP can be run against existing data records for analysis or used in real-time as physicians record clinical encounters. Before Clinithink, Tielman helped start scheduling service HealthLeap (now owned by Vitals) but this is much harder! This demo was given during the “Health 2.0 in the Hospital” panel at the San Francisco Health 2.0 conference in 2011.
