BIG data has made many recent headlines. Streamlined clinical processes, accelerated research and development, value-based healthcare implementations: the promises are huge for improving clinical and financial outcomes. And in many cases it also provides an answer to the question: “who will pay for Health 2.0 solutions?”. However, BIG is too often synonymous of “useless”. This session focuses on open, smart and actionable data and showcases technologies that structure information for decision-making.
